2025/26 Repco NextGen Championship to be broadcast on Kayo Sports
October 22nd 2025

Kayo Sports will broadcast all six rounds of the Repco NextGen NZ Championship this summer.

Commencing with the Alliance Services Hampton Downs International next week (October 31-November 2), Kayo Sports will carry the more than 70 hours of live coverage planned for a blockbuster summer of New Zealand motorsport.

The strong Australian broadcast arrangements complement the recently confirmed partnership with SKY Sport New Zealand, which coupled with international coverage on YouTube and motorsport.tv will see more eyeballs reached by New Zealand motorsport’s premier series than ever before.

The opening round includes the final rounds of two key Australian categories; GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and the Monochrome GT4 Australia Championship – the latter racing on New Zealand shores for the first time.

The six events include highlights such as the Historic Grand Prix at Taupo – home of the Repco Supercars Championship round in New Zealand – and the 70th running of the iconic New Zealand Grand Prix, to be held at Highlands Motorsport Park in the Central Otago on 1 February 2026.

All four rounds of the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceana Trophy will be covered, while there’s likely to be strong Australian interest in key categories across the broad slate of Repco NextGen NZ categories – including but not limited to the TA2 New Zealand Championship, Summerset GT New Zealand and the Bridgestone GR86 Championship.

More than 70 hours of live coverage will be broadcast across the six rounds this summer, with coverage available on Kayo Sports across the summer.

Kayo Sports is the home of the Repco Supercars Championship and the FIA Formula One World Championship in Australia.

David Tunnicliffe – Head of Broadcast, Repco NextGen NZ Championship

“The summer ahead stands to be one of the biggest on record and with the amount of Aussie interest, it’s appropriate we’re partnering with Australia’s home of live sport, Kayo Sports, for the first time.

“In a quiet time for Australian circuit racing, we’re confident motorsport fans will enjoy the offering from the Repco NextGen NZ championship this summer. There will be plenty of familiar names on track plus categories Aussie fans know and love and there will be something for everyone, too.

“We welcome Kayo Sports to the championship and can’t wait to showcase a massive summer of New Zealand Motorsport to fans on both sides of the Tasman – and beyond.”
