The 2024-25 Bridgestone GR86 Championship will be one to watch this coming summer with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing NZ introducing the brand new GR86 race car for the championship’s 12th season.    

Proudly built at Hampton Downs by TGRNZ, the GR86 is purpose designed for the race track, building on the legacy of the TR86. Carefully selected race specific components have been added to the impressive standard specification to create a car at home on the circuit in the cut throat environment of a one-make series. Control parts ensure the championship remains competitive and fair with only officially built GR86 cars eligible for the championship. 

We look forward to welcoming our 2024-25 grid of competitors and a grid upwards of 25 GR86s this coming season.
