Historic & Vintage Racing Association Inc (HVRA) has formed a grid covering the era of Historic Saloons, V8 Saloons, and Sports & GT’s from the 1960’s to the early 1980’s. HVRA - Historic & Vintage Racing Association NZ was formed in 2021 by a group of enthusiasts who were committed to preserving motor racing history. We provide a platform for enthusiasts of competition car from the 1960’s to early 1980’s to take part in historic racing in a non-competitive environment.

Our grid features Historic Saloons, Vintage Saloons, Classic Saloons, Sports & GTs, and Touring Cars, all presented in their correct historic form according to MSNZ Appendix Six regulations. While strict on historical accuracy, we also welcome select cars of special interest.
