Since the early 60’s V8 Race cars were at the forefront of Saloon Car Racing in New Zealand with iconic Cars like the PDL and Sidcrome Mustangs and NZV8s in the later Years.  

Race Fans in New Zealand have always enjoyed naturally aspirated V8 Categories all Racing within one sizable and quality Grid, with 10 Lap Rolling Start Races planned, it’s going to be quite a spectacle.  

The SuperV8s format will feature a combination of the fastest V8 Tintops in the Country in one impressive grid. 

2024-25 Season is going to be an exciting era with TA2 Muscle Cars Series growing in strength, and with the inaugural Trans-Tasman Aussie versus Kiwis being a huge success last Season it’s easy to see why this totally controlled Class of Mustang, Camaro and Dodge bodied V8s is the fastest growing Category in Australasia.  

The V8 Open Series is a chance to showcase some of the most radical NZ, USA and Australian manufactured V8 Race Cars in the Country, with a bit of Kiwi ingenuity these highly modified SuperTourers, Mitchell Extreme TLX, MARC Cars, Tranzams and NASCAR Trucks will all be battling it out for line honours. 

The flame throwing and thunderous sounds of the SuperV8s is guaranteed to have Race Fans on their feet.
